Birthing Classes at Beaumont Hospital

As you prepare for the life changes that come along with becoming a mother, take advantage of classes and groups offered locally and through Beaumont Hospital.

New Mothers-to-Be

Have you enrolled in your prenatal class yet? Birthing classes are offered by a registered nurse who works at Beaumont Hospital's Family Birth Center. Darlene teaches group classes through her home in Troy for a fee of $100 per couple.

She offers several options to accommodate your busy schedule.  Her most popular class is a full Saturday class which runs from 10:00am-4:00pm and includes lunch.  This popular class is limited to 6 couples in order to provide a personalized experience for all participants.  She also provides personal classes for just one couple for a fee of $275, and she occasionally offers a 3-night series of weeknight classes on an individual basis as well.

The anticipation of becoming new parents and actually having a new baby in your lives, especially for the first time, is very exciting and can also be overwhelming. There are many resources available to make this a smooth and enjoyable transition. Beaumont Hospital offers numerous prenatal and parent education classes that are informative and help guide you as prospective/new parents.
